Community
A welcoming home for musicians of all skill levels and aspirations to connect, share knowledge, and grow together. You’ll be able to find people to play with, professionals to repair your gear, places to go, and teachers to learn from.
ABOUTOne place for your musical life.
Wammy brings the people, instruments, knowledge, and local opportunities that musicians need into one connected community.
Find Fellow Musicians
Whether you want to meet up and make music in a garage or tour the world with a new band, you can find like-minded musicians who are looking for the same things you are. Do you need a particular instrument for an upcoming gig? Try the “Hired Guns” feature.
Instrument Registry (WammyToken)
The WammyToken is an encrypted digital registration key that allows each item to be tracked and provides peace of mind when purchasing and owning your gear. WammyTokens can be transferred through the app. In the event of theft or loss, you’ll be able to mark your gear as stolen or lost directly from the Wammy app. All pertinent information about your item can then be sent directly to law enforcement and added to our database. Pawn shops, law enforcement agencies, and instrument resellers will have access to the database, helping attempts to sell stolen or lost items result in their return.
Personal Profile
Let everyone know who you are. You’ll be able to add photos and performance videos, save your marketplace search preferences, share your availability to jam and perform, and connect locally or globally.
Marketplace
Buy and sell instruments with greater confidence in a marketplace designed specifically for musicians. All instruments and gear listed in the marketplace will be required to have a WammyToken. You’ll be able to set up custom searches and notifications that seek out exactly what you’re looking for.
Music Education
Want to learn how to play an instrument? Want to improve on the instrument you already play? Choose from a variety of local teachers, or find one anywhere in the world through virtual lessons.
Local Open Mics & Jams
Get out and share your music wherever you are! Open mics and jam nights are everywhere, but they aren’t always promoted well. The Wammy Jam Finder will offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date list of opportunities for you to get out and share your music.
